Cirque Du Soleil

Cirque Du Soleil are currently touring with their show “Alegria”.  It is their last show in Birmingham tonight at the NIA.

We were lucky enough to attend and what a night! A feast for the senses with an array of colours, music, acrobats and gymnasts. The set was beautifully produced and totally engaging.

Designs

It was Alegria’s 18th Birthday on Saturday 21st April 2012. We were lucky enough to be invited to produce and design cakes/cupcakes incorporating the characters of the show.

We’re thrilled with how they all came together and we had alot of fun and inspiration along the way especially Yuri and Maz below.

Birmingham Showcase

As soon as the doors opened it was a bee hive of activity at this years Buy My Wardrobe event.

So many beautifully tailored, loved and adored pieces, snapped up left right and centre.

It was great to be a part of something so environmentally friendly.

With garments, shoes, bags that had been fallen out of love with, there was many a match made in heaven.

As part of the event we provided cupcakes to the peckish crowd to boost their dwindling sugar reserves.

A fine accompaniment to cocktails, champagne and afternoon tea at Nuvo.

Asked recently “What is our mission statement and does it still reflect who we are as a company?”

We couldn’t quite answer the question. Why? We didn’t really understand the power behind it.

We delved back into our business plan and found a mission statement that was more like a list of objectives. Coincidentally, we received a magazine from Orange business users, their topic for the month “Mission statements”

After a brainstorming session over a coffee break we focused on our core ideals for KMC.

We are delighted to share our mission statement with you all above , if you’re looking to write or revisit your own, check out orange’s great advice on how to write one.

 We travelled the world for 18 months, besides the great landscapes, people, culture and cuisines, we’d always find ourselves in coffee shops enjoying a relaxing moment before heading out into the throws of the day.

That’s why we love this picture by HSBC. We feel it depicts connecting over a great cuppa coffee with friends, colleagues, family, acquaintances, anywhere in the world.
